Parking is available on our private drive directly opposite The Lodge. Sue will be available to personally welcome guests on arrival and to ensure you settle into your stay as smoothly as possible! With excellent knowledge of the area, Sue is happy to help you with ideas and recommendations for things to see and do during your stay. We live next to the property so can easily deal with any queries or problems. This picturesque Warwickshire village is located at the northern tip of the Cotswolds approximately 4 miles from the traditional market town of Shipston on Stour, 5 miles from Chipping Campden, 10 miles from Broadway and 7 miles south of Stratford upon Avon, close to the borders of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire.The village has been preserved by being classed as both a Conservation Area and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is full of ‘old world charm’ with a warren of footpaths, two traditional country pubs to explore and very own Community Village shop. A car is advisable to access The Lodge and make the most of the wonderful surrounding area. The nearest train station is located 10 minutes away at Moreton in Marsh with trains direct from London. Other local stations include Stratford upon Avon and Banbury. All stations offer a taxi service. There is a local bus service to Stratford upon Avon and Shipston on Stour. A Welcome Breakfast Basket will be awaiting your arrival to help get your holiday started comprising of fresh bread, milk, healthy cereals, butter, home produced eggs, yogurts, marmalade, local honey, fruit juice, selection of teas, drinking chocolate, coffee and Blenheim bottled water.
