Apartments Jernej can offer you two one-bedroom apartments, one is suited for 4 people and one for three. It is located in a peaceful environment, in the nature - Arnovo selo. A place you can relax from the city rush, but still close to grocery stores, bars, restaurants and even Thermal rivieras like Terme čatež, Terme Olimia, Terme Paradiso. Each apartment has a private kitchen, which is fully equipped, a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, hairdryer, towels and more. We give our guests space but we're available if needed. Arnovo selo in located 7 kilometres from town Brežice. It is a peaceful village where you can relax or visit spa centres near by, such as Terme Čatež, Terme Paradiso and more. If you are more interested in visiting historical sites, we also have a few, like The castle Brežice- It is supposed that the castle was built in the 12th century, Repnice caves in Bizeljsko and more. Visit Terme Čatež Spa - the venue for relaxation and entertainment: the Summer and Winter Thermal Riviera offer a healthy water fun and relaxing effects of the warm thermal water each day a year. Being a part of an idyllic environment the Spa is an ideal venue for numerous sports activities. During summer months, the green surroundings of Brežice, especially the beautiful banks of the rivers Krka, Sava and Sotla, are very lovely. Canoeing, wakeboarding and stand up paddling on the the Krka River belong to the most popular activities during the summer heat, but you can also simply relax or take a swim. Repnice are one of the features that certainly will not leave you indifferent. We are talking about caves dug into quartz sand, which were used for storing turnips, the main forage for livestock, over the winter. Turnip is called »repa« in Slovene, hence the name. After abandoning these storing methods, the repnice become one of the monuments of past times, while many winemakers converted them into a space for storing and tasting their excellent wines. This provides an opportunity for a truly unique experience by visiting up to 200-year-old repnice in the villages of Brezovica, Bizeljsko, Pišece and Globoko. Some of them are decorated with remarkably interesting mouldings on the ceilings or walls. They are characterized by an ideal temperature and humidity, which are necessary for the storage and maturation of wines. The castle Brežice- It is supposed that the castle was built in the 12th century on a small slope on the left bank of the Sava River, separating Styria and Carniola. It was built by the Salzburg people in order to serve administrative and defence purposes. The town of Brežice, which was established in its neighbourhood, got city rights approved by a document in 1353. A car is almost a necessity in our area, as we don't have a train station or bus station near by.
