This is accommodation with a unique difference. Our boat is a luxury spacious Canal widebeam boat, fitted to an exceptionally high standard, providing an ideal way to discover some of the best kept hidden secrets the RiverThames has to offer. The interior of the boat is spacious with an open plan living area and dining area and kitchen, ideal for entertaining. The kitchen comes complete with all modern conveniences including: dishwasher, microwave oven, separate fridge and freezer and beautiful granite work surfaces and bespoke cupboards. The side hatch off the kitchen is perfect for feeding the ducks and swans who swim right up to the hatch expecting to be fed! The saloon area has a plasma 42' Satellite TV, DVD player, Wifi (sim card can be purchased from us) and a fuel burner stove to keep you warm in the cooler months. The saloon opens directly out on to the front deck where you can sit and eat outside, taking in the stunning scenery of the River Thames in Henley.The galley has a full size 5 ring gas hob, grill and oven and we provide all the utensils so you can cook a 3 course dinner. There are two twin cabins and one double cabin with a bunk bed. The cabins are bespoke and all have en-suite shower and WC. Bed linen and towels are included, and there is satellite TV in each cabin and hair dryers. Each cabin has a beautiful River Thames view. There is nothing quite like waking up and hearing only the wildlife in the mornings. The boat can accommodate up to 11 people if the dinettes are used, but for larger parties, why not book narrowboat GINA (sleeps 6) or narrowboat Gema (sleeps 8)as well and cruise flotilla style. The boat is easy to drive and life jackets for both adults and children are provided. The boat is fully insured (commercial / hire insurance and public liability insurance) and is licensed for the River Thames (full commercial license). We are always on hand should you need us and we are only too happy to assist in any aspect of your holiday. Our cruising season is from 24th March - 14th November and our holiday start dates are Mondays or Fridays. Dogs are welcome free of charge (up to 2 dogs) You pick the boat up from our base Betterboating which is a 2 minute taxi ride or 10 minute walk from Reading Railway station which has direct links to Heathrow airport, Gatwick airport and London.Trains run frequently from London to Reading, the journey time is approximately 30 minutes from London to Reading by train.
