Detached House in a Rural Area

zie: gedetailleerde beschrijving Detached house "Carpe Diem" The house is situated in a rural area directly on cycling and walking routes. This area is also called "The Green Heart" and is typified by lots of fields and here and there farms. A wonderful tourist attraction nearby is "De Haar" castle only 2 km away. It is also near the largest Dutch cities: Utrecht, Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. Also nearby is the country town of Woerden (4 km) which is certainly worth a visit. There is a busstop only 200 metres from the house and the bus will take you to Woerden station. From there all the above mentioned cities can be easily reached. By train to Amsterdam CS, Rotterdam CS and the Hague will all take roughly 40 minutes, and Utrecht CS will take 10 minutes. Schiphol airport will take 50 minutes. There is a wok restaurant within 500 metres and shops can be found in the village of Harmelen (2 km). There is more choice in Woerden (4 km). You will be the only guest in "Carpe Diem". The house consists of a living room and a kitchen downstairs. In the living room is an alcove containing two bunk beds, this is seperated from the living room by a curtain. The living room contains a dining table and chairs and two armchairs,HDtv with a DVD player and a CD player. Wifi is free. The kitchen has an electric(induction) stove with four burners, a microwave oven, a coffee machine, electric kettle, fridge and of course all the necessary crockery and cooking utensils. Coffee and tea are unlimited and free, but there will be a small charge for other drinks. In the living room you will find all sorts of informative brochures about the cycling and walking routes as well as information about the large cities. At the rear of the house is a storage area with cupboard space, and the bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with a double bed 2x80x200cm. Altogether can sleep 4 people. Outside you will find a patio with garden furniture where you can enjoy the beautiful garden. If the weather is fine you may also want to use the table barbecue. The garden houses chickens as well. They provide the eggs for your breakfast. Breakfast is 7 euro p.p. Smoking is only permitted outside. Parking is free in the spacious parking area next to the house. Minimum stay is two nights and more than two people is 15euro p.p. extra. Children under 6 years of age are free.
