We have private, on site CCTV protected parking with space for 2 cars/vans. With easy access keybox entry. With fast speed broadband, space for muddy boots & jackets, and plenty of hot water it's the ideal place to relax after hard working day. Chill on the private patio or put on a DVD. There's a selection available. PLEASE NOTE WE NO LONGER ACCEPT PETS IN THE LODGE The Lodge is fully separate and self contained accommodation with it's own CCTV protected parking area and private entrance. It's wheelchair accessible, mobility friendly, all on one level with parking right outside the door. It's modern, clean and comfortable with high speed fibre optic broadband and full gas central heating under your control. Fully equipped to a high standard with a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer and space for storing for pushchair or wheelchair etc. We have a range of mobility aids, and items for babies and toddlers, available at no additional charge for your use during your stay. Just ask for the list. On booking guests are given a key code and have access at all times of day and night via the private parking area. We like to say hello and be here to assist you if necessary but we don't like to impose ourselves on our guests. We love having guests but know that they don't need to love us in return, they just need to love their stay here. :) Crowland is a small town with a village feel. Most people are surprised that everyone smiles and says hello in this area. It is perfectly situated for exploring the nearby city of Peterborough or visiting Burghley House or Sandringham. There are oodles of things to do and places to go for families all within a 20 min drive. I provide a comprehensive 'What shall we do today?' folder to help with ideas. There are many places to eat and takeaways who deliver too so no need to cook if you don't want to on your holiday. Being rural a car is the best way to get around although there is an hourly bus service into Peterborough and Spalding just a few minutes walk away and good taxi services. We live on site and can mostly be found working away in our private garden or looking after the fabric of the property. We love having children around having 9 grandchildren of our own.
