Round house in the forest

The cabin is located in the forest, 50 meter from a private parking area. 5 minute walk to the nearest lake bathing site, 5 more minutes to our private pier with boat and kayak. New woodfueled sauna is located at the parking spot. Entrance to "Østmarka" forest area with marked hiking trails. Off-grid cabin located on Sandvoll Farm (Sandvoll gård), 25 minutes drive from Oslo. The cabin has gas heating and oil lamps and candle lights provide heat and light in the evenings. Drinking water can be collected in dedicated water tanks (2x 20L tanks) from the taps on the farm, 200 meter away. Please note that the cabin doesn't have electricity, so please bring batteries and/or powerbanks for your electrical devices if needed. If you enjoy the peace and quiet and want to read a good book, cook some good food and just escape to the countryside for a weekend, this is a good place to stay! Firewood, gas, lamp oil, candle lights, toilet paper included. Guests will have access to the whole cabin. Sauna is shared with one other cabin that also can room 2 guests. I am available via phone and email throughout your stay. Nearest neighbour is Sandvoll Gård, a horse farm with 14 horses, horse statues and some cool vintage buildings like a replica of a 1950s Shell gas station. 4,5 km on sidewalk to Siggerud where you find a grocery store (Coop Extra, renovated in 2019/2020). 7,5 km to Ski city via forest trail and country roads. In Ski you find a cinema, shopping mall, restaurants, bowling and more. 10 km to Krokhol Golf court. 23 km to Oslo. Nearest bus stop is "Karlsrud, 1400 Ski", 500 meter from the cabin. The cabin has a 160x200 cm bed in the mezzanine + 2 sets of pillows and duvets without covers. Please bring your own sheets and covers for a 160x200 cm mattress and 2 standard size sets of pillow cases and duvet covers.
