Cottage on the cliff, a unique, charming retreat!

Welcome to our charming and bright studio cottage, set on a large enchanting garden adorned with trees and a natural pool with cascading water, providing a peaceful, safe place to relax or work. We are situated in the picturesque Valley of 1000 Hills, just 30mn away from Durban, and conveniently 10mn drive from the Watercrest Mall. You'll get a parking, Wi-Fi, fireplace for cold winters, fully equipped kitchen, quality bedding, private garden seating corner, all in a quiet leafy surrounding. Our brand new self catering cottage offers a comfortable and warm country feel. It is ideal for business travelers who wish to find a convenient retreat in the evening, or tourists visiting the area. You have acess to Wi-Fi and a TV with Netflix and Prime video (please note that we don't have dstv). The kitchen is fitted with a large fridge, microwave, and gaz cooking plates allowing you to take your own meals in the comfort of your private studio. And you can even braii (barbecue) in your private garden corner! We live in the main house, which is attached to the studio cottage. You have your own private entrance and garden corner. We won't disturb you but if you need help or have questions, it will be our pleasure to assist you as we are in most of the time. Because the studio is attached to our home, we request our guests to respect the peace of the place and refrain from playing loud music or TV. We live in a friendly, lay-back neighborhood, on the country side, away from the busting life of Durban. However, our place is just 5 minutes drive from the Watercrest mall, where you'll find everything you might need, from supermarkets, to restaurants, bookshops, cinema and more. For the nature lovers and hikers, we have the Krantzkloof nature reserve just 10mintes drive away, with its stunning views, walks and bird life! Makaranga and its manicured garden is a place worth the visit too and a great option for a unique pique nique. Durban is 30 minutes drive and you'll find superb beaches north or south of the city, just 1 hour drive from our place or a bit longer if you go further away. King Shaka international airport is about 45 minutes drive.
