With a cozy wood burner, there is a spacious living room and a beautiful kitchen with river and a garden surrounding it, and a drive. The cottage is situated at the west end of the small hamlet of Guyzance, close to Walkworth and the beautiful Northumberland coast. The cottage garden is solely for the use of the guests in the cottage. Private river fishing on the River Coquet at Guyzance Hall or Tennis court can be booked, however neither are included in the price. -WARKWORTH Castle Cozy small village with cafes and restaurants - GUYZANCE Hall Private river fishing on the River Coquet at Guyzance Hall or Tennis court can be booked -FELTON village great bakery and lovely pub. - AMBLE (fishing harbour ) full of great fish restaurants and fab ice cream place, plus you have the Puffin Cruises out from there too. - ALNMOUTH village fab beach , the old school made in to a cozy Art cafe , lots of small eating places. - CRASTER harbour great pub and walks. - ALNWICK Alnwick Castle , super/lovely Castle and garden , great for kids, large treehouse , Mini golf ect. Lovely marked town with Supermarkets/sport centre - CRAGSIDE , great day out with all family. - WALLINGTON Garden Great for kids. - BAMBURGH Castle Super beach and lovely village. - HOLY ISLAND Lindisfarne Castle, Fab day out on the beach and look at the castle . - MORPERTH , Lovely Market Town and supermarket . - 30 mins into Newcastle. By car you can easily explore the full Northumbrian coast line from here. You can go on your bicycle to Amble for dinner, ice cream on the quay side of the harbour, cycle to Warkworth Castle or take a trip to Alnmouth for coffee, to mention but a few of the many of lovely places to bike too. Alnmouth train station is just 10 mins away from Guyzance and you can get from Kings Cross straight to here in 4 hours or Edinburgh to Alnmouth in 1 hour and 20 mins . We can offer at GUYZANCE Hall Private river fishing on the River Coquet or Tennis court can be booked Both are not included in the price itself. Guests can bring bikes, it is an easy ride to go for dinner or coffee in Warkworth , Amble harbour ,or Alnmouth . For us as a family of 6 , it takes us about 30 mins to cycle to Amble for dinner, taking a scenic short cut over the river Coquet into Warkworth and on to Amble or in a car 5/10 mins .
