Perfect place to relax and re-charge your batteries with family & friends. With two central Wood Burners & underfloor heating, our barn is very cosy whatever the weather is doing! In a great location close to Halstead, Colchester, Braintree, Chelmsford, Cambridge, Stansted Airport & London. Our Beautiful Essex Barn was lovingly converted in 2006 into the fantastic family home you see today, it has been finished to a very high standard and offers a unique space to relax with friends and family. We have two wood-burners, a very well equipped kitchen, with two ovens, two fridges, large Gas Hob, dishwasher and even a separate wine/drinks fridge! A large dining table and 5 en-suite double bedrooms. There are three great out-door seating areas with Table Tennis, Sun Loungers & a BBQ and for ultimate relaxation our Hot Tub, which has proved to be a great hit with our own family & guests alike. It really makes the perfect place to unwind & get away from the pressures of every day life! We are extremely close to the wonderful wedding venues of Gosfield Hall & Hedingham Castle, so ideal for your stay if you are a Wedding guest! *PLEASE NOTE* We are offering stays for up to 6 guests, using 3 of the 5 double en-suite bedrooms. The house can comfortably accommodate up to 10/12 guests, but it also works very well for 6 ! Our nightly price reflects the fact that 3 en-suite bedrooms will be available for use. However, if you wish to have extra guests & bedroom a supplement fee will be charged accordingly, please enquire with Host! I will be there to meet & greet you and show you around. I will be pleased to give you any advice about the highlights of the local area, the fantastic walks, pubs to eat or enjoy a drink at and give you information on the many beautiful villages you could visit whilst staying with us! Gosfield is a small vilage with a Lake within walking distance, offering water-skiing and other water sports. In a great location, with many beautiful Essex & Suffolk Villages to visit, and within easy travel distance to to Halstead, Colchester, Braintree, Chlemsford, Cambridge, Stansted Airport and London. Good Circular Walking routes immediately by the property. On site parking & a short car/taxi ride to main line stations. Our home is strictly for the use of the named group booked, we will not accept any other guests stay without advance agreement. We will be asking for names and mobile numbers for each guest staying along with car registration numbers of guests arriving this way. It is not our intention that our barn is to be used as a party venue, rather that it is a lovely open social space to relax & enjoy the peace and quiet away from your normal hectic life with friends & family in a lovely rural setting. We have many walks on our doorsteps and we have mountain bikes which you are welcome to use to explore the area too! Or just stay in and enjoy the tranquility this location has to offer. We have converted outbuildings which are occupied, however they have their own space/gardens and facilities and privacy as do our guests staying in the Barn.
