Relaxed and very tranquil small country guesthouse joined to the host’s family house in a rural part of southern Spain. The perfect holiday getaway only for independent couples, travelling professionals or for young and small quiet families. Close to the city of Cartagena, Murcia and Alicante airports. There is a range of beautiful beaches and mountains close by. Please note that a car is essential. This two bedroom independent annexe is attached to the main host’s family household and it is located in a remote, relaxed and rural environment in southern Spain (Campo de Cartagena area). It is the perfect holiday getaway for independent couples, travelling business professionals or very small and quiet families. It has one spacious double bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds. Modern facilities including WIFI, air-con, toilet, two showers (one inside the house and another one outside, by the swimming pool), a small kitchenette with a breakfast bar and two outside living room areas (please note there is not an inside, fully designated living room area) You can also make use of the host family´s swimming pool (only during summer time) barbecue and garden areas. It is surrounded by fruit trees. Help yourself to the fresh oranges, lemons, plums and figs from our garden (depending on the season) for the ultimate breakfast! Car necessary as no public transport services. The house is located 15 minutes away from Corvera airport (Murcia) and just over 1 hour from Alicante airport. It’s only a 15 minute drive from Cartagena city and the nearest beach in Cala Cortina. It’s also only 20 minutes to the wide range of beaches of El Mar Menor and the Mediterranean coastline. Nearby local shopping facilities, restaurants and bars in villages; Pozo Estrecho, La Palma and Santa Ana. NOTE: We only welcome responsible, respectful and independent people from any nationality/background. We speak fluent Spanish, English and some German. We will always make sure we agree on a time from 4 pm to greet you and give you the keys for your stay. At the time of your leaving, always before 1 pm, we hope to personally wish you a safe journey, however if this is not possible, we’ll ask you to leave the keys in our post-box by the entrance door once the house has been locked. We live in a quiet and remote place in the middle of the countryside where there are others neighbours and houses scattered around. However by car we are close enough to the cities of Cartagena (15kms) Murcia (35 kms) and several villages with full facilities that are just 5 minutes drive away. Car is essential.
