Addingham is a beautiful well kept, friendly village, Ideally situated for Weddings taking place at Bolton Abbey/Tithe Barn and Priest House/Barden Tower. With excellent amenities it has everything needed for a long or short stay. 3 George Street is recorded as being the original school room situated in the centre of the oldest part of Addingham Village. It has its own designated parking space, entrance to the front of the cottage is accessed via a short non vehicle pedestrian only street. Although recently renovated and modernised throughout, this period cottage retains its rustic charm and many original features including exposed beams, lintels, ceiling areas and clever use of storage space. On three floors this well proportioned cottage flexibly sleeps 4-7. First floor King size bed, second floor double with small sofa bed and ground floor King size sofa bed. The cottage has its own designated parking space for 1 vehicle, additional parking is in nearby car parks and street parking. There is a regular bus and Taxi service to nearby Towns and villages linking with Train services to Ilkley, Skipton and Keighley. There are stunning countryside and river walks and plenty of cycle routes to explore. Entrance to the cottage is flexible by key safe. We share the responsibility, as a family, of assisting guests to have a relaxing stay. We keep in touch prior and during your stay, always on call via text, (Hidden by Airbnb) and landline to respond quickly if needed. Addingham village boasts 4 Village Pubs, Indian takeaway and cafes, a regular bus service Medical facilities and a well stocked Coop. Although there are infinite beautiful walks around and from the village, the honey pot attractions of Bolton Abbey, The Yorkshire Dales, Ilkley and Skipton Market Town are a good walk or a short drive away. Infinite, stunning, walking, cycling, sight seeing opportunities in the village and to nearby attractions. Addingham has a regular bus service linking with trains from Skipton, Ilkley and Keighley. Also, trustworthy Taxis from Ilkley. The through kitchen lounge and indoor dining area leads out to the south facing rear garden, which is in a sheltered position, attracting full sunshine throughout the day. Benefitting from recent landscaping to include flower beds, outdoor seating including a BBQ/Firepit area and Hot Tub So that guests who do not require the hot tub do not have the cost included in their initial booking price at onset, we request a charge of £20 each nights stay, if guests wish to use it. The tub is drained cleaned and refilled after every guest use so advance notification is required.
