Double room in lovely quiet Lane, nr Grafham water

Very quiet with ample parking on drive. One spacious and light double room for short weekend stopovers or mid week breaks. Situated in pretty hamlet of Stonely and Kimbolton. Ideally situated for access to A14 and A1, and close to Grafham Water, great for sailing, fishing, cycling or walking. Keysoe International Equestrian centre is also only 3.5 miles away. St Neots and Huntingdon are within easy commuting being about 7 miles away. Cambridge is approx 25 miles away. Large sunny room. TV in room, but guests are welcome to use the sitting room, kitchen - microwave and fridge - and dining room. Shared bathroom. Wardrobe and drawer space available in the bedroom. Free WiFi access. Kimbolton high street- within walking distance- is very quaint. it is an old market town (some call it a village) and has a pub where you can get food. There are also many country pubs close by in the nearby villages serving very good food. Use of all the facilities in the house within reason. I can give any advice on local pubs where you can get good quality food at reasonable prices. Also local interest points. Grafham water is close by. Stonely is about 25 miles from Cambridge. Grafham water is close by and great for sailing, cycling, fishing or just walking. Kimbolton Castle School dominates the village and has a lot of history. Kimbolton itself is a very pretty village on the river Kym. Situated on the borders of both Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire and with good transport links being only 3.5miles from the A14. Keysoe International the highly esteemed equestrian centre of excellence complete with Indoor Arena, International size Outdoor Arena, Cross Country Course is also on the door step, just 3.5 miles down the road. You definitely need a car as public transport is very limited. There is plenty of parking available on the drive. Bikes can be stored in the garage. The nearest rail stations are St Neots, approx 7 miles away and Bedford approx 9 miles. Cambridge is about 25 miles away. No minimum stay. I like to ensure my guest are made welcome on arrival with the offer of tea and coffee. There are also cereals and toast for breakfast.
