We enjoy talking about the area, and can tell you about places and activities that may interest you, according to your hobbies. There is much to see in Bretagne in general, and in a short distance from Combourg. The town is in the middle of "must see" places (Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo, Dinan, Rennes. Less than 35 minutes), but there are many less-known though charming towns to discover. We are located in the heart of the town of Combourg and its Breton houses, near shops and restaurants for every taste. The castle is visible from the street. The lake is very close too, it is one of the various possible orientations for a walk in the nature or for cycle tracks. Combourg can be a very pleasant and convenient stop or base if you are touring Bretagne, and even on your way from/to Normandy. - With a car : it is easy to park just nearby the house. There are many beautiful sights to discover from Combourg in a short driving distance. - There is a train station in Combourg, which allows to easily and quickly go to Rennes and Saint Malo (frequent trains. One way trip : between 20 and 30 minutes). It is also possible to go to Mont Saint Michel or Dinan with public transport (with one change). We can advise about transport, and even meet at the train station. We are guides in Brittany as well, and in addition to our tips, you may also have a look at our tours in the area ("Visite Bretagne"): Saint Malo, Dinan, Mont Saint Michel, Rennes, pink granite coast, Broceliande forest, and many off the road towns and places... We suggest some special offers combining accommodation and tours in Bretagne (over 2 hours, 1/2 day, full day, over a few days).
