The route is known for its excellent restaurants and fish taverns, but also the remnants of ancient walls and small beaches. The port of Zea is the heart of Piraeus, the lively center of the city. In it the visitor will see the Naval Museum, the remains of the ancient Neo-settlements, but also the impressive marina. The picturesque "Mikrolimano" is the most famous part of Piraeus for those who are interested in visiting it for its excellent fish taverns. It is located east of Zea, at the foot of the historic hill of Kastella (the ancient citadel of Piraeus, Munich). "Kastella" is probably the most beautiful district of Piraeus.
