Shepherd's Crook

Shepherd's Crook is a delightful heated shepherd's hut in a private rural landscape, on it's own and within it's own stone circle that is not overlooked and has the most wonderful views over the Dane Valley. It has a large quality double bed, kitchen with a microwave, induction hob, fridge, Belfast sink, toaster, slow cooker, Foreman grill, and radio. Shower room with toilet and sink. Hot and cold water. Towels provided. Outside is a summerhouse with heater, comfortable chairs. Outside a BBQ/fire pit and a large private grassed area. It is a short walk over the field to the local pub where excellent food is served. Wincle is a most beautiful village in the Peak District with lots of walks, eating places and things to do. Our Shepherd's Hut is private, not overlooked and has the most wonderful views over the Dane Valley. The hut has been fitted out to a high specification and there is a large private area outside. Guests are free to wander over 38 acres of a working sheep farm which includes a bluebell wood, a stream and river banks. Lots of places for picnicking. Usually we are available should you need help in any way. A shepherd's hut in a wonderful part of the Peak District.Fantastic views of the Roaches and the Dane Valley. Accessibility to all of the Peak District, to Chester, Manchester and the Potteries and Manchester airport is all within 1 hour drive. No public transport to the Village but a main line station in Macclesfield 25 minutes by taxi. Ample parking at our site.
