My house is a character cottage of over 100 years old that has been modenised with newer kitchen, bathrooms, conservatory and extra bedroom. It has a total of 4 bedrooms, a dining room, living room, kitchen, conservatory, bathroom, shower room, with small garden on 3 sides. The guests room is the largest bedroom located at the top of the house in what was the attic - height is normal room height with sloping areas at either end (see photos). Bed is period style double and there is option for extra single bedroom for a 3rd guest, possibly younger. Guests are free to access all other areas within the house, including bathroom, shower room and kitchen. Guest room has TV available if required and there is free Wi-Fi. The house is located in a leafy, residential area less than half a mile from the town centre. A 10 to 15 minute walk into town gives access to shops, pubs, bus station, restaurants and banks. Walking the opposite direction and within 5 minutes you will be within lovely countryside, keeping an eye open for red squirrels! Visits to the many attractions on the island are easy either by car or bus, and their is a cycle hire shop only 10 minutes away. The house is occupied by myself and 15 yr old daughter and a black cat called Buster!
