Marygreen is a cosy, bespoke and beautifully furnished cottage nestled perfectly within the centre of the Royal Burgh of Lanark. With a garden, bespoke bedrooms, homely living room, modern shower room and kitchen (not to mention the rustic log fireplace), Marygreen Cottage is the ideal place to stay for short breaks as well as for business. Situated just 250 metres from Lanark town centre, the cottage is also just minutes away from the World Heritage Site of New Lanark Village, and a 5 -10 minute walk to both the train and bus stations connecting the town to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The cottage also lies close to both the natural haven of the Clyde Walkway and the majestic and iconic Corra Linn waterfall. Lanark boasts stunning architecture, unique shops and a selection of quality restaurants. With secure, off road parking, it is the perfect base for visiting the local area and for visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh which are both less than an hour by car or train. The cottage has own driveway and parking area, with a garden. There are 3 steps at front door and 1 step at back door.In addition there is one internal step from kitchen to living room as per photo. Marygreen cottage offers privacy and your own space . We live in the adjoining property and will be available to resolve queries either in person or by phone if not on site. The cottage is very close to town centre , and in a central location for ease of travel within local area and beyond. Lanark is a rural market town with lots of areas of historical interest and a great base for visiting the countryside nearby. The cottage is close to train and bus stations and has a driveway with parking space for 2 cars.
