'Spire View', Lyndhurst - New Forest Holiday Home

Our unique, brand new ground floor flat offers a relaxing home from home environment. It comprises an open-plan reception area and two good sized bedrooms. The accommodation is light and airy with a feeling of space and an ideal location for families or couples. We are located centrally within the wonderful village of Lyndhurst, often referred to as the 'Capital of the New Forest'. Enjoy beautiful countryside on the doorstep and be spoiled with an array of restaurants/cafés and local shops. Spire View is in a peaceful part of Lyndhurst, but only 2 mins' walk to the High Street and 5 mins' walk from your doorstep is access to the open forest. At the rear of the property, there is undercover storage for equipment for children (pushchairs, etc), there is also a facility for bicycle storage but please bring your own locks. There are two parking spaces, one of which is on the driveway and the other is roadside, outside the property. We offer superfast fibre broadband for your convenience along with Netflix for entertainment. We live 20 minutes' drive from the property and are available during your stay for any queries or advice about the local area etc. 'Spire View' is perfectly located in Lyndhurst, set in a quiet picturesque spot just two minutes walk to the heart of Lyndhurst high street with everything you could need for your new forest get away. There is a pretty little church right opposite the apartment. There are plenty of eateries from quaint little cafe's to an array of different restaurants and local pubs to suit all tastes. For the shopping enthusiast there are plenty of unique boutique shops along with antique shops for leisurely browsing. The open forest is a five minute walk from your doorstep and will lead you directly onto the forest where you can walk for miles and see all the new forest ponies, donkeys and cattle (but be careful not to feed them please). Lyndhurst is described as 'The heart of the New Forest'. There is so much to see and do around the local area. The New Forest Heritage Museum is located centrally in Lyndhurst where there is a gift shop and cafe on site with free entry to the museum. Lyndhurst has a lot of history and if you are familiar with Alice in Wonderland you will be interested to learn that Alice Pleasance Liddell who was the little girl that inspired Lewis Carroll's Alice's adventures in Wonderland lived In Emery Down Lyndhurst. Her ashes are interred in the family grave at St. Michael and All Angel church in the centre of Lyndhurst. There are a few coffee shops and pubs in the high street that you will notice pay reference relating to 'Alice in Wonderland' such as The Mad Hatters Tea Shop (who serve the best cream tea) and The White Rabbit Hotel. We hope you enjoy exploring beautiful Lyndhurst and the surrounding area. There are two train stations a short distance away (Ashurst and Brockenhurst). Bluestar Buses operate from Lyndhurst to Southampton or alternatively to Bournemouth. There are many excellent walking routes onto the forest, accessible either by foot from the property or by car. We will supply two door keys, however, we suggest that you always leave one key in the lock box to avoid being locked out of the property.
