Neil and Juliet welcome you to their attractive Edwardian townhouse in a leafy street situated an easy 10 minute walk from Sunderland city centre. Nearest metro station is a 10 minute walk away. Large double bedroom & modern en-suite (rainshower and bluetooth integrated vanity mirror). Situated on the first floor, set back from the main body of the house. Newly re-decorated. Close to the University of Sunderland, Sunderland Empire Theatre, the beach and other local attractions. Bedroom includes desk area, large wardrobe, chairs, goo_gle assistant and a well stocked tea and coffee tray. En-suite is modern, fully tiled and well equipped. Private room can be locked for privacy. First aid kit also provided. Breakfast is included in the price (continental style) at a time to suit you which includes juice, cereal and home made bread. Check in time can be negotiated. If you wish to use the kitchen hob or microwave to heat up dinner, this can be arranged. Free parking permit supplied for residential parking. 8 minute walk to the University of Sunderland city campus, 10 minute walk to Sunderland Empire Theatre, short metro ride (25 minutes) to Newcastle city centre, short drive (25 minutes) to Durham city centre, 10 minute drive to our beautiful coastline. My daughter's black labrador is an occasional visitor but does not enter your rooms. Your rooms will be deeply cleaned and sanitised before arrival and on departure. The kitchen and all other areas of the house will be cleaned and sanitised to a high standard. I have completed and adhere to the Airbnb Covid 19 cleaning protocol. I will safely welcome you at the front door and show you to your rooms. A key will be provided and if required you can access main kitchen for simple meal preparation on an evening. Breakfast will be laid out for you in the kitchen at a time suitable for you. Very happy to assist with travel directions and advice on the local area. Quiet residential street, permit parking outside the house (permit will be provided free of charge). Bars and restaurants a 10 minute walk away. University of Sunderland city campus only 8 minutes walk away. Nearby attractions include the National Glass Centre, Stadium of Light, Empire Theatre, Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens, Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham and Northumberland.
