Charming and Cozy Cottage-style Room

Welcome to our light, bright, Scandinavian style home. We are just a short bike ride from the town center, 20 minute bus ride from the train-station, and just a minute from the A8 autobahn. There are many nearby lakes, pools, and shopping, and we are wonderfully situated for longer excursions to the Mountains, larger lakes, castles and fortresses, romantic towns, historical sites, Dachau, larger cities like Munich, Ulm, and Regensburg, as well as Legoland, Play-mobile Park, and Skyline Park. We have spent the last four years renovating this space in a bright, Scandinavian style that blends old, refurbished gems with new comfortable and beautiful accessories, all done with an eye for design and a loving attention to detail. We love our home and are glad to share it with others. Guest access the rooms through a spacious, shared entrance. The guest bathroom is accessed by a shared hall. We also have a large garden, which is available to guests. We are always happy to get to know our guest, give sight-seeing tips, or be of help in any way we can. We are within 5 - 10 min walking distance from Grocerystores like Aldi, Lidl, Netto, Rewe, Edeka, DM, and hair salons, retaurants and cafes, post-office, bowling alley, car-sharing. Shops and museums are also within easy reach by bike or bus/tram, or car. Also nearby are lakes, outdoor pools, bike path along the idyllic river Lech, small local airport (with commercial and glider planes). We are a 10 minute bike ride from the old town center, and a short walk to the bus and tram, which will also take you into the old town center and the train station. Munich is just shy of a 40min commuter train-ride making it an ideal day trip from here, and we are also a couple minutes away from the A8 Autobahn exit Augsburg Ost, which can also take you to Munich, Dachau, Ulm or other easily reachable day excursions like the beautiful bavarian lakes situated south east of Augsburg and the Alps. Free parking for one car, locked garage for bicycles. You can reach our house by public transportation. Starting from the Main Train Station you can take the bus 44 or 23 to Steinerne Furt or bus 22 to Kolberg St. From both busstops our house is in walking distance.
