An idyllic & secluded spot, in the heart of 30 acres of farmland, in the middle of a woodland glade. There are 4 levels; the decking under the treehouse with a sofa area & gas burner, ideal for lounging. The ground floor with teak table and chairs. The 1st floor, a love seat to enjoy the views from and the top floor has a small table and chairs for two. Whilst the bedroom is beautifully decorated in muted tones reflecting the tranquil surroundings with a wood burning stove for chilly nights. The treehouse itself does not have power, internet, or any cooking or tea and coffee facilities but you are welcome to bring a portable bbq and cook in the designated area. It is essential you come equipped with a torch for when you walk from your car to the treehouse in the dark. There are lots of battery candles around the property, please note no other candles are permitted. There is an outside bathroom area with a shower, compost toilet and sink area. Guests have access to the whole woodland area but surrounding fields have crops growing so we ask guests not to walk on these. We won't be there to meet you so if you have any queries please do give me a call or drop me a message. The treehouse is fantastically positioned in a beautiful part of West Sussex with lots of lovely local villages and towns to visit. The nearest beach is only 15 minutes away, although West Wittering is 40 mins away and worth the extra travel time! For those who love adventure, we have a great number of lovely walks and cycle routes nearby including the Literacy Trail, South Downs way, Cissbury ring, Chanctonbury ring, Petworth House, Leith Hill, Pitch Hill and the Downs Link. There are some fantastic historical places to visit such as Arundel Castle, Petworth House, Parham House as well as the Knepp Estate, which is great for walks, seeing the storks and other wildlife. The Woodland Trust and RSPB Pulborough nature reserves are also worth a visit and only 15 minutes away by car. We are also centrally located between Guildford (40mins), Chichester (30mins) Brighton (30mins), Petworth (30mins) and London is only an hour away on the train. If you are a foodie, we are lucky to have two michelin star restaurants only 20 minutes away as well as some fantastic local pubs and restaurants and would be very happy to recommend all to you prior to your arrival. A car is a must! The nearest train station is 12 minutes away and trains come from London every half an hour. However, taxis are few and far between so we would absolutely recommend you have your own mode of transport to be able to get about. If you want a unique experience, this is the perfect place for you! It is a truly tranquil spot with plenty of quirky features! We have tried to ensure that luxury meets adventure with a hot outdoor shower facility and compost toilet but we do ask that you are sensible with your water consumption.
