Idyllic place for waking up listening to the birds singing, enjoying fresh air and watching stars on a clear sky. Accross the road to the house is a small creek where you can chill. Peaceful location, only 10km from Idrija and surrounded by forest. Perfect place for escape from busy cities. Best for hiking, biking, swimming, fly fishing, geology, wildlife... Important: -from Idrija there is 10km of winding mountain road -best with your own transportation -there are few steps to the apartment The room is clean, comfy and functional. There is a comfortable double bed (160x200cm), closet, small table and night table. Second bed is foldable couch (165x200) located in the living room. Finnish sauna (for 2 people) and hot tub are not included in price. The house is located at the heart of Idrija UNESCO Geopark and on the edge of Upper Idrijca Landscape Park. Area is also included in Natura 2000. The nature around provides unique experience of Slovenia. You will access a private appartment consisting of: - main bedroom with dubble bed - living room with foldable couch, dining table, kitchenette (hot plate, basic tools, pots, plates and glasses), fridge with a freezer department - private toilet and shower (outside the room, 5m away) - terrace with covered table and benches - gas grill and pizza pan (electric) to cook outside - free parking -*Wooden hot tub is not included in price - *Finish sauna is not included in price - *Breakfast is optional and not included in price I will provide you brochures and information on what to visit. Please note: - make sure you drive through the centre of Idrija first before ascending to the mountains - expect to ride 10 on a windy mountain road to reach our house From Idrija: The place is best to visit by car, ride takes aprox. 20min from Idrija (10km). If you don't have your own transportation one from the familiy can give you a ride. With a bike you need 45min due to altitude difference (Idrija 325m to Čekovnik 640m). Distances: Čekovnik – Idrija, 10km, 20min Čekovnik – Ljubljana, 70km, 1h20min Čekovnik – Seaside (Koper), 115km, 1h30min If you are planning a 4 or 5 day stop this is a perfect place to slow down and reconnect with the nature. Place is ideal for couples or families who want to relax. Big and loud parties are not allowed due to environmental restrictions. The house is divided into 2 units and has to separate entrances. Top of the house is residential, the bottom part is the apartment. All amenities of apartment are for your private use (room, bathroom, terrace, summer kitchen, sauna and hot tub). There is a small dog on the property. Clothes washing we charge extra. Breakfast is not included in price, but it is an option for a fee. Tourist tax is NOT included in price (2€/adult/night).
