Design Tiny house at idyllic campsite
Wanting to enjoy camping life without the hassle of bringing your own camping gear. Not to mention setting it up ;-) then this cute all white Tiny house at our campsite at the river side is perfect! You will have the real camping experience, while sleeping on a queen size bed and under crispy clean bedding. You only need to bring you clothes. We will provide you with a made up bed with frech linnnen and clean towels. There is everything you need to prepare a simple meal inside on the induction cooker or outside on the gas cooker. You can use the communal fridge with freezer compartment in the wooden shed at the campsite. A very clean toilet and shower building is just a few steps away. There is 1 very big and comfortable hot shower and 5 smaller showers, wich are off course also hot! There are hammocks between the trees near the river. If you want more action then you can start a kanu tour direct from the campsite, jump on the trampoline, or improve your balance on the ‘slack line’. We also have 3 bicycles you can use for free. There is a big old bus that is filled to the knock with all kind of (board) games, like monopoly, risk, scrabble etc. You can also make a big fire at the communal fireplace. We are always around, so please feel free to ask us anything you need or want to know. The campsite is situated at the waterfront of the Werra river and at the end of the small village Altenburschla. This village is like a fairytale with authentic Fachwerk houses, cobbled streets and a small historical square. On this square you will find a really good restaurant. A second cafe/restaurant with Minigolf is directly next to the campsite. Altenburschla has been 2 times awarded most beautiful village of Germany. The campsite is on the border of Hessen - Thüringen and of the former East-West German border. There are a lot of walking and bicycling routes you can start from the campsite. UNESCO protected castle Wartburg and an ancient UNESCO forest are only 45 minutes away. Old university cities Göttingen and Erfurt are an hour by car. The accommodation is at the end of the campsite along the footpath that leads to the river where there is a kayak pier and next to the mini-golf from our neighbours. But you do not need to worry, because they will not be open before 12:00 hours and even when open it is never crowded. There is a campsite spot directly next to the accomocation, so you can come with friends/family that can stay next to you in their own tent :-)
