Accomodation is split over 2 levels. To the ground floor is a spacious and modern kitchen diner ehich is open into the lounge are. Main faily bathroom is also newly fitted and comprises toilet, washbasin, bath and chrome towel rail. To the rear of the property, the cottage has a patio area with garden furniture and a few steps which lead down to the vegetable garden. The large grassed lawn area to the side of the cottage is the garden to the main barn and is not for use by guests. The owners have lived locally for over 10 years so have lots of local knowledge. Mark is a keen mountain biker and Julie is a Yoga and womans wellbeing specialist. They are happy to help with any information on local and surrounding areas and want to make your stay with them as enjoyable as possible. They currently live opposite the cottage with their 2 children and 2 Westies. The area of New Mill is only a short distance from Holmfirth centre ( approx 1.2 miles ... 5 mins in car or walkable in 20 - 25 mins). Famous for The Last of The Summer Wine Holmfirth is also host to many festivals and events throughout the year. With plenty of restaurants , bars/pubs and cafes to choose from you wont go hungry. The bigger cities of Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield are also within easy reach by car or train for those looking to wander further afield. The surrounding countryside and nearby TransPennine Trail makes it the perfect place for walking / hiking / biking . You will be spoiled for choice of walks around the many beautiful reservoirs. Public Transport runs between all major routes. The main train station in Huddersfield (approx 20mins away) serves Manchester, including the airport, Leeds and Sheffiled As a fully qualified and experienced Yoga teacher, Julie offers private 121 sessions at an additional rate and by prior arrangement.
