Tranquil, cosy barn conversion surrounded by nature. Rural location only 5 mins from Sevenoaks and 35 mins by train to central London. Great for cycling and country walks, located just outside Ide Hill village AONB in the heart of Kent. Close to Knole Park, Hever Castle, Emmetts Gardens, Penshurst Place, Bough Beech Nature Reserve. Beautiful views. Off road parking. Fully equipped with all modern conveniences for a short or longer stay. Large decked area for outdoor dining. Sleeps 4 people in 2 double beds. We live in the house next door and will be available to help in any way we can. We will of course allow you privacy. Ide Hill Village is just as short drive in the car or a 15 min walk, there you will find a well stocked community shop with cafe, post office, pub and the local church. We are surrounded by beautiful woods with many public footpaths and notable walks and view over the Weald of Kent. We have plenty of walks in the area but there is little in the way of public transport. Sevenoaks High Street and the Mainline Railway Station is 5-10 mins by car. The Train to charing Cross in Central London only takes 35 mins, within an hour the city is on your doorstep. The area is a destination for serious cyclists with many famous climbs. Our barn is not suitable for children under 2. We are set in 14 acres and close to lane, our garden is very open and unfenced.
