A spacious & stylish retreat, ideal for long stays

Little Barn - brand new conversion, stylishly furnished to maximise the space ensuring this little retreat ticks all boxes to make your stay comfortable & cosy! Little Barn is light, airy and open plan with beautiful upstairs bedroom & generous bathroom. The private patio is perfect for the late evening sunshine. This is also an outstanding place for longer stays, it really is home from home! Whilst Little Barn is an ideal sanctuary for two, with a king size bed upstairs and luxurious large shower and separate bath en-suite, it can also accommodate four. The sofa bed in the lounge area has an extremely comfortable double deluxe mattress so you won't even know it's a sofa bed! The brand new kitchen is fully fitted with all you need to make your stay effortless and a joy to self cater with an electric hob, oven and full size fridge/freezer. In addition the washer/dryer means longer stays are very appealing enabling you to enjoy this beautiful area, with the market town of Thame on your doorstep, Oxford, Bicester Village and even a trip to London is only 35 minutes on the train. There is a private patio area which gets the evening sunshine so perfect for some alfresco dining or just the perfect little spot for that glass of wine at the end of the day! The private patio is perfect for that quiet morning coffee or as the sun sets, a relaxing sundowner! There are two parking spaces designated for Little Barn. We are usually in if you need anything but tend to leave you alone to enjoy your own peace and quiet, however, please feel free to text or call if you have any questions. Having lived here for years we have plenty of suggestions of day trips and places to eat but you can read all about that in the booklet I’ve designed and left in your accommodation. We are in a very quiet hamlet known as Scotsgrove, with walks on our doorstep, a mile along a bridal way to Haddenham village and a mile across fields in the other direction to the beautiful market town of Thame. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you, similarly, if you want a buzz, there is plenty of opportunities only a few minutes drive away. For eating out, Thame is only a mile away offering an array of independent cafes and gastro pubs. Further afield, there's Oxford, Bicester Village, Waddesdon Manor and of course many walks in the Chilterns. If you wanted to stay longer, London is just 35 minutes on the train direct to Marylebone and the station from ours, less than a mile away. Ideally located with the railway station under 1 mile away you can access central London in 35 minutes, or in to the heart of Oxford for 25 minutes. There is a taxi rank a mile up the road called and a bus service on the corner too. If convenient, I'm more than happy to provide a lift to the train station, please don't hesitate to ask! For monthly stays, professional cleaners will clean fortnightly to maintain the high standard of the property. This will be discussed with you once you are here so you are aware of their timings and what to expect.
