Windmühle Schneeren - Windmill Schneeren

My place is an old windmill on top of a hill in the Steinhuder Meer Nature Park near Hanover. It is good for family groups, friends re-united or just people who want a complete break. The windmill is a fully equipped, modern self-catering accommodation. It has a large, round living-room/kitchen with a fireplace, and on 2 floors 3 double/twin bedrooms, +1 with 2 beds (180 cm), 2 spaces on a double sofa-bed in the living room, and 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bathtub/shower, the other 1 with a shower. The windmill offers complete privacy and natural surroundings in a remote location. You are, however, connected to the world via free WIFI. But if you would like me to switch this off, it can be done ;-) Guests are welcome to access all of the building, including the loft with original windmill technoglogy. There is a lot of space, a verandah with sunsail, garden furniture, bbq equipment, free firewood and bicycles. There will be somebody available at the windmill most of the time for queries, general information and activities (see also (URL HIDDEN) The windmill hill is about 1 km away from Schneeren village and 4km from the Steinhuder Meer with restaurants, pubs, cafes and opportunities for various sports, including sailing, kite surfing, fishing, golf, etc. On request we can collect you from Hanover or Bremen airport or the railway station at Neutadt am Rübenberge. There is also a bus (no. 830 or 831) which stops at Schneeren Mühlenfeld, right next to the windmill. Schneeren is surrounded by woods and moors. It has 42 listed buildings, a pub, a restaurant, a butcher's and well-established doctor's practice.
