Stunning oak framed self contained cottage

Tucked away in the garden of our home, you will find this stunning oak framed self contained cottage. Sleeps four in two double bedrooms with its own private patio. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and set of small draws. There are hanging hooks and room to store your luggage under the bed. The bathroom is en-suite and has a large walk in shower, hand basin and WC. The second bedroom is upstairs, this has a bespoke double bed which is low to the ground to fit under the eaves. There is also a large chest of draws. The upstairs space has a huge corner sofa and a sofa bed. The cottage has a beautiful modern open plan kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven. There is a small built in fridge, but this does not have an ice box. A kettle and toaster and tea, coffee and sugar are all provided. In the lounge area there is a huge leather sofa and arm chair. The cottage has a wall mounted flat screen TV with Amazon fire stick. The whole of the ground floor has underfloor heating and radiators upstairs. Our garden is terraced on 3 levels and we have our own patio and lawn on the top level, but our 2 ducks and cockerel have free range. You might meet our very friendly Labradors and cats from time to time too. The cottage has its own sunken patio with 4 chairs ( cushions are kept in the shed, just ask ) and a fire pit table. Logs and kindling on request. You will have access to the whole ground floor and outside patio area. The upstairs space is also available for guests, although I do use one of the small rooms as an art studio and respectfully ask that guests don’t use this space. The studio will not be in use during your stay. We have a large private drive way for you to park in, additional on road parking is also available just outside the property. Our house is in a quiet village with an excellent pub with an award winning menu and fabulous homemade pizzas. There are plenty of stunning walks locally. Jim and I are at home most evenings and weekends should you need anything. The cottage is part of our garden, so you will probably see us and our pets around during your stay. We hope you will make yourself at home. Stunning quintessentially English village, with thatch cottages and an award winning local pub right on the doorstep. Short walks through the country to Littlecote Roman villa. Only 5 mins to Hungerford, with a charming high street full of coffee shops, antiques boutiques and independent traders. Hungerford is less than 5 mins drive away with a direct rail service to Newbury and it's race course, Reading, Ascot, Windsor and London are all within an hour by train. Oxford, Bath, Bristol and Salisbury are all easily accessible by car. The cottage is set on the lower level of our terraced garden and is accessible by several steps with no hand rails. Please do not dispose of sanitary products or wet wipes in the toilet or pour fats of any kind down the sink. There is only one bathroom, which is the en suite and only accessible from the bedroom.
