The 300m², two-story house was built at the end of the 19th century and has been recently renovated retaining its original style. The lower floor (150m²) is offered for rent (although the entire house which sleeps 12 can be made available upon request). The owner uses the upper for regularly for vacations but it will remain empty whilst you rent the lower floor ensuring your complete privacy. It is situated just outside the town in an area that boasts many of the most beautiful towers and mansions the island has to offer. The location is just 10 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from the main port and town makes the house easily accessible both by air and sea. The house is set in a large plot with gardens and a large veranda facing the sea. The gardens and some rooms enjoy an uninterrupted sea view whilst the veranda itself sits above the seashore with an open view to the opposite coast of Turkey. The house has a very distinct character, with a nice mixture of original and modern furniture. The lower floor is 150 m2. Rooms are entered from the large central hallway. Features of the lower floor include a dark wooden beam ceiling and exposed stone walls in some rooms. - main hall - kitchen (fully equipped) - 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 triple) - living room - 2 bathrooms - internal balcony with sea view The 3 bedrooms can sleep up to 7 people. All rooms have a wardrobe, small dressing table and bedside tables. A couch bed in the main hall can be used to sleep an 8th person. Baby travel cot is also available. The lower floor kitchen leads out on to the main veranda and is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery for 12 people, cooking utensils, washing machine, fridge freezer etc. The kitchen table can seat 6 people for breakfast however there is a large table on the veranda with sea views. There is a large living room will ample seating, furnished with TV, DVD player, DVD's, books and board games. Off the living room is an internal rounded balcony. The lower floor hosts 2 modern clean bathrooms. One has a bath with overhead shower, handbasin and toilet. Next to it, the second bathroom is fitted with a built-in shower unit, toilet and handbasin. The veranda makes this house extra special, it is our place to relax, have dinners, barbecues and drinks while enjoying the view of the sea. Although it would be possible to have a small dive in the sea next to the veranda, there are plenty of local beaches to swim very nearby. Whilst the house has a large beautiful garden, sea views and an amazing veranda it has to be noted that it is situated on a main road and renters should be aware of this. The veranda is on the sea side of the house and the sound of the waves is much closer than any sound that may be heard from the road.
