Quirky Rural Retreat - Bobbie's Barn, Lamberhurst
Quirky and cosy Kent barn conversion in an area of outstanding natural beauty. If you are looking for a rural location with easy access to culture, walks, wildlife and the historical town of Royal Tunbridge Wells then look no further! Bobbie's Barn is situated on our substantial grounds with beautiful views as far as the eye can see. The barn is private and secluded with ample living space, indoor and outdoor. The living space has all you need for a cosy and fun getaway in the Kent countryside. Inside you will find all the space and amenities needed to enjoy your stay; Two well sized bedrooms with comfy King sized beds and space to hang clothes and store belongings; a large family sized bathroom with waterfall shower; open plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen, dining table and large L-shaped sofa that turns into a fantastic double bed. Quirky lighting, artwork and colourful design makes Bobbie's Barn a memorable stay. Large french doors lead to the outdoor space which is a summer suntrap and in the evenings a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine while stargazing under the clear skies whilst enjoying the fire pit .There is a large table and chairs as well as a BBQ, perfect for outdoor dining. The barn is adjacent to our 23 acres of field and woods but the garden of the barn is fenced off making it a secure space for your pets . Dogs absolutely love staying and the two horses peering over the fence waiting for carrots (which I provide!) are a super fun addition to your stay! Whilst the space is all yours to enjoy privately, you may be lucky enough to be joined on occasion by the deer and other spectacular local wildlife. The stunning landscape offers joy all year round, no matter the weather or season. Bobbie's Barn is a fabulous base to enjoy the many local walks, quaint villages and visits to local landmarks. Scotney Castle and Bewl Water are a 3 minute drive away .Rye, Cambersands and Hastings are just a short drive away also .The cosy and well thought out interior also makes the barn a fantastic place to chill, unwind, cook and read - a great break for city dwellers. As is often the case with rural locations, the mobile phone signal can be patchy and there is currently no wifi avaliable in the barn. We are in the Oast house a short walk up the hill from the barn should you need anything, otherwise we'll leave you to enjoy the barn as your own.
