The Annexe, Durham City

This recently converted self contained private detached modern annexe is located within 15 minutes walk of Durham City centre with its world class University and Cathedral and is great for both holiday and business travellers. The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. The annexe is totally self contained and has its own allocated parking space next to it together with private decked area with Cathedral views The Annexe is a private modern single storey self contained building and offers a spacious living area (with sofa bed) and a modern well equipped kitchen and dining area. There is a separate double bedroom with king size bed. The Annexe benefits from a 'Jack & Jill' shower room which can be accessed from the bedroom, creating an en-suite or via the living area, which will allow guests sleeping on the 3 seater sofa bed access to the bathroom too. The Annex benefits from a HD Smart TV with built in DVD in the living room. The entire Annexe is yours during your stay. There is a small garden area to the front of the Annexe with a large decked area with views of Durham Cathedral. There is a parking space next to the Annexe for your use during your stay although we are only a short walk from the City centre. Prior to Covid we used to welcome guests in person and as we live in the main house, we are always at hand if you have any queries or need any information about Durham or the wider geographical area. The newly converted annexe is situated within the grounds of our main house which is at the end of a private road within a small street 15 minutes walk from Durham City centre. Being within easy walking distance of the City centre you'll probably not use your car much if you're only visiting Durham City itself. However we are also near to all main bus routes to Newcastle and Darlington and the wider road network. The train station is also very close by giving you the option for National travel. We will supply a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk.
