Primrose Cottage

Based in Darley Dale midway between Matlock and Bakewell and in easy reach of local attractions. The house is centrally heated with gas and has an open fire in the living room. It is in a cul-de-sac so very quiet with the local park adjacent to the end of the road.. The property is well equipped including dishwasher and washing machine, oven, microwave etc. We supply hand towels for the kitchen and bathroom but please bring your own bath towels. The single room bed is a 'Captain's Bed' like a bunk bed but without the bottom bunk and has storage underneath instead, great for kids. All parts of the property are available to guests. The house is cared for by Maresa who lives nearby should there be any issues. Within a few miles of the most popular Peak District attractions. Peak Rail runs weekend steam trains through Darley Dale and within 3 miles are Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the Heights of Abraham, Great Masson Cavern and Gulliver's Kingdom in Matlock Bath. Alton Towers within an hours drive. Local park 100yds. Golf, Riding and Swimming Pool within 3 miles. Pub and shops are close by. There are bus-stops on the main road going through Darley Dale going to both Matlock in one direction and Bakewell in the other, as well as travelling further afield. There is a railway station in Matlock and also in Chesterfield
