Old Post Office Row Cottage is an attractive, mid terrace, stone-built Derbyshire cottage in the popular Peak District village of Bamford. Boasting a wonderful, enclosed, rear courtyard garden and a wood burner pride of place in the gritstone fireplace, our cottage is the perfect choice for walkers, families or cyclists for year round breaks. You can use the home in its entirety including living room with log burner, large kitchen diner with range oven, bathroom with cubicle shower, 2 double bedrooms. The property is suitable for family’s and a travel cot is available upon request. You will have your own courtyard garden with seating area on decking - beyond which are the rolling hills of the hope valley. On street parking just a few yards down the hill. Train station 5 minute walk away with regular trains to Sheffield or Manchester. The home is available to you in its entirety. We the hosts do not live within the area but are not too far of a distance away and are always available by phone. I am just a phone call away to assist with any questions or issues you may have! located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, the village offers beautiful views across the Hope Valley, and you are surrounded by ample walks around beautiful countryside. Just a few yards up the hill is a community run pub and cafe which serves wonderful food and drinks and the atmosphere is just lovely. Failing this being open there is a huge choice of brilliant pubs and restaurants just 1 mile down the road in Hathersage. The river Derwent is just half a mile away which is well worth a visit. This property is ideal for walkers or cyclists with fantastic routes just on the doorstep! Easily navigated roads around the area for cars, bus services and taxis also available. Bamford train station is a 5 minute walk down the road with routes to Sheffield and Manchester. Logs for log burner are not provided however the garage at the bottom of the road provides it as do various shops in Hathersage just a mile down the road. Stairs are characteristically rather narrow and steep. Where as stair gates can be provided for little ones, perhaps this property may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm. Keys will be collected by yourselves from a key safe on the property anytime from 3pm. Wood is available from the garage at the bottom or the road. Whereas Property is located on the road running through bamford, when cars do pass, the noise is extremely minimal due to good quality windows 👍🏻 Parking is on street and spaces are sometime available opposite, if not then just a minutes walk down the hill.
