This new detached chalet is situated in a new park under construction: Estate "De Huynen". It is located in the forests of Schoonloo, where nature, tranquillity and atmosphere are typical. The new park lies on a recreational lake with a beach and is surrounded by beautiful greenery.The park has paved roads and parking spaces near the chalets. On the beach at the recreational lake you can sunbathe and take a refreshing plunge in the pool. If you prefer swimming in a pool, it is possible. On the adjacent holiday park, there is a outdoor pool with a 36 m long water slide, and a separate toddler pool.You can use all the facilities of the recreation park . The holiday team offers daily entertainment and relaxation during peak season. A small train takes the children to the park and brings them to the recreational area. After the activities, the engineer brings all the children back again.Furthermore the restaurant organizes various events such as bingo and card games, musical entertainment and karaoke. For daily shopping, you do not have to walk far. There is a park shop and fresh bread service. "Dotterbloem" is a spacious 6-person holiday home on the ground floor (65 m2), with a large hall with open staircase, a sitting room with TV, a toilet, the master bedroom, and a bathroom with shower and washbasin. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and freezer, a microwave, a 4-burner stove, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and electric kettle. The house has central heating.Upstairs there are two bedrooms with in each two single beds. There is also a second bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.Around the house is a very spacious garden. You can enjoy it from your furnished terrace. The park and its surrounding area offer plenty of opportunity for a pleasant holiday. For both young and old, there is a recreation room with a pool table. The canteen organizes a variety of activities like karaoke, music, bingo, cards and shuffleboard and children are sure to have fun on the playground. For those who love sports and recreation, in the immediate vicinity there are two unique recreational ponds with beautiful clear water and wonderful beaches. In the park there are also sports fields, playgrounds and even a mini-golf course. The park is surrounded by hundreds of acres of national forests and is located near the beautiful village of Schoonloo. In the surrounding area you’ll find numerous cycling, hiking and horseback riding trails. (Child) bikes can be rented in the park, and there is a riding academy within walking distance of the park. Hiking, biking and horse riding route information as well as tourist leaflets are available at the reception. The central location of the park means you can easily undertake a number of wonderful excursions. In Assen there is the Provincial Museum. The Memorial Center of Camp Westerbork in Westerbork and the National Dolmen Information Centre in Borger are also worth a visit. Looking for something for the children? Then Kabouterland in Exloo or the Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen are an absolute must. The city of Groningen, with its beautiful historical center, should also not be missed. The town is traffic- and partly car-free and that makes it a great place to relax and go shopping. - The reception of the park will contact you after booking in order to transfer the additional costs in advance so that you can check in faster.- Youth groups (under 25 years of age) are not allowed to rent this accommodation without guidance of an adult.- The recreation team is present only during the holidays and in the high season.- On arrival, you will receive the park rules. These are applicable to your reservation.- Upon arrival/on spot, you must complete an authorization form for the deposit.- The swimming pool is open from 1st of June until the beginning of September (depending on the weather)- When you book a preference (for example a specific house number or two accommodations next to each other, you need to pay a preference fee of 15 euro per reservation.- Pets are not allowed.- In the restaurant of the park (Grand Café) you can use WIFI connection (the restaurant is open between the 1st of April and the 15th of October).- Business bookings are not allowed.Please be aware that upon arrival a deposit of 150 euro needs to be paid at the reception.
