Beautiful suite in an Historic Georgian House
This charming house, originally built for the Bishop of Hull, sits proudly adjacent to the beautifully maintained, St. Mary’s church, with it’s 208ft magnificent spire. For food lovers, a Michelin star pub and restaurant is within a short stroll. There is easy access to the sandy beaches on the East Yorkshire coast, or the Yorkshire Wolds and North Yorkshire Moors for walking and sightseeing, taking in the breath taking countryside. The Medieval city of York only 23 miles away. This beautiful, large, recently renovated bedroom, has a Versailles four poster, super-king size bed, with a luxury mattress, giving the ambience of a bygone era. Relax with the peace and tranquility of this suite, with views across the croquet lawn and gardens, this bedroom has a sunny aspect giving a warm ambience. There is mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi, etc. providing all modern conveniences. The en-suite bathroom is wonderfully appointed with a large walk in rain shower and separate bath, adding soft, fluffy towels, bath robes and those little extras to make your stay memorable. Breakfast is taken in the formal dining room where we can serve a traditional full breakfast, including a vegetarian option, with a choice of cereal, fresh juice, croissants and served with fresh bread or toast. From the end of the drive, you are immediately on the Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route 1, or by car, you’re within five miles to the historic town of Beverley and its racecourse.
