Chalúpka - The Cottage for All Good People

Welcome at our 'Chalúpka' (which means 'Cottage' in Slovak) in the middle of nowhere, where traditions, nature and tranquility meet at one spot together with a comfort of nowadays. This splendid wilderness of Nitra Region is an ideal long term as well as short term getaway for groups as for individuals. To indulge in atmosphere even more, the cottage is equipped with Finnish sauna and indoor & outdoor fireplace. There is an open dining&living room and the kitchen with traditional stove downstairs (electric double stove is available as well), study room which can serve as an extra bedroom (as the sofa can be turned into a single bed), 2 other bedrooms upstairs with an adjustable number of beds (4, 2). There is an open access to the whole garden and orchard, roofed BBQ area and outdoor wooden WC :-). There will be a family member open to help, give an advice, arrange activities if necessary. ''Chalúpka'' for all good people and especially those who seek perfect hideaway is located in the middle of wilderness. With its strategic location has vast possibilities to offer in short distances. The closest village Jedľové Kostoľany is 2 km far away, with all the basic facilities you need as a grocery store, local bar, and church :-). There are endless hiking and cycling trails all around, ruin of Hrusov Castle (8,5km), horse riding facility nearby and bison preserve (21km). Topolcianky town (12km) offers plenty ''must see'' sights as a castle with landscape park, and gastro possibilities as a fishing farm, wine tasting, etc. The closest bus stop is in the nearest village Jedľové Kostoľany, it is about 2km far away from The Cottage. There are bus connections between Zlaté Moravce and Jedľové Kostoľany almost every hour (during the week) and the bus journey takes about 30min. There is a possibility to arrange an itinerary based on your travelling preferences. For instance, a day trips arrangements guided by local professional, focused on various themes as culinary, nature, spa, etc. We provide as well workshops related to nature & self-growth at The Cottage.
