Very light and garden faced living room. Open kitchen. One bedroom. For a stay outside of hectic downtown Amsterdam but only a bus ride away frotm the center. The small canal in the back yard is a great place to sit and ponder life... Or ice skate in winter time. Keukenhof. 2. if you like to spend a day (or more) biking or hiking in the green or on the water (Amstel, Westeinderplassen, Nieuwkoopseplassen). You can park your car in front of the bridge on a central parking area (free). The busstop is near our home, named "Korte Polder, Uithoorn". Check (Website hidden by Airbnb) for the time schedules for busses, trains and metro. For travelling by bus and metro you need an OV-chipcard. An anonymous card costs EUR 7,50 and you can use it immediately. You can buy it at several shops in the Netherlands. You'll receive more detailed information about the house and its surroundings one week before your arrival.
