Private flat within a large family home near Morpeth - sleeps 4 - ideal for a small family exploring Northumberland or for a professional working away from home. Newcastle is just 12 miles away south on the A1, whilst north there are the castles and coastline of Northumberland to explore. The flat consists of a downstairs room with modern kitchen, eating area and TV and sofa (also a sofa bed). A spiral staircase leads upstairs to a bedroom with double bed, wardrobe/cupboard and bath/shower and toilet. We can also provide, on request, a single fold out floor mattress to be added to the upstairs bedroom if a younger child would prefer to sleep in the same room as you rather than downstairs. We can also provide a cot (+ bedding) and a high chair. You also have exclusive use of our private heated indoor pool in the evenings up until 10.00pm. Your part of the house is completely private to you. However, if you need help, advice, assistance etc you are welcome to knock on the kitchen door and have a chat! Hepscott Park is a private estate situated between Stannington village and Morpeth town and is well placed near to the A1 for exploring Northumberland to the north or Newcastle to the south. Close by there is a Garden Café and a flourishing Farm Shop. The nearest town is Morpeth which is the county town of Northumberland and has all the usual local amenities and shops. Hepscott Park is close to the A1 and so reaching the bustle of Newcastle city or the peace and quiet of the Northumberland hills or coast is very easy. There is a bus service between Morpeth and Newcastle that stops at Hepscott Park and Morpeth train station is on the main East Coast main line between Kings Cross and Edinburgh.
