Our airbnb is run by ourselves ( a genuine family who enjoy it ). We have a desire to ensure our guests are happy, relaxed and feel that they got value for their money. You have your own private cottage and sauna. Close to nature with lovely walks right outside your door. Quite and peaceful. Short walk down to the water. Private cabin with sauna on a beautiful island with one double bed in one bedroom and a small extra sleeping area with one bunk bed (see photographs). Living room with diningtable, TV and cooking area. Bathroom with shower and your private sauna. Outside patio with tables and chairs and a relaxing hammock. View from patio and bedrooms towards the forest. Owners house is on the same property and there is a big garden which you are more then welcome to share with us. We have two kids so if you are visiting with kids feel free to use our swings, slide, sandbox and trampoline. Parking available on property. Bus stop is 2 min walk. Easy to get around the neighbourhood by foot, by bike or by bus/car. Small beach about 7 min walk away. Grocery shop 4 min drive or 35-40 min walk away. Regarding interaction, It’s up to the guest. Privacy, of course. We enjoy meeting people and can offer time and money saving advice if you wish. As we often offer a discount on airport collect service please for your own sake allow us to be able to recognize you in your profile picture. Also for your convenience accurate contact details is critical. Calm, safe and cosy. Enjoy a relaxed pace on Helgö and take bus journey to and from Stunning Stockholm and around Ekerö. We know the importance of holiday time and if we can add to your enjoyment we are happy to accommodate. Many reviews on our listing have ”to do”, suggestions and tips. Travel from Stockholm to location: Take subway, green line (Hässelby or Åkeshov written on front of train) and get off at stop Brommaplan. Then take 309 if possible for direct route or 176/177 to Ekebyhov and then change to 309 to travel to stop Nytorp on Helgö Ekerö. Travel into Stockholm City from location: take bus 309 from Nytorp (2 min walk from house) to Ekerö center, take boat in to Stockholm city center 55 min boatride). Lovely boatride with beautiful scenery which you pay for with same ticket as the bus. If choosing journey with subway it is about one hour, 10 min to Stockholm City Center Station. You connect to subway at Brommaplan. Nytorp bus departs from our house every 30 to 60 mins depending on time of day. Bus times are accurate and SL has is a great site and app for times and route. Swedish Directions - Med T-bana till Brommaplan och buss till stop Nytorp ( Sten Banérs Väg ) Från centralen, åk grön linje mot Hässelby, Vällingby eller Åkeshov till Brommaplan. Därifrån går bussar till Kaggeholm. Direktbuss 309 från Brommaplan till Kaggeholm eller nr 176, 177 med bussbyte vid Ekerö C eller Ekebyhov till buss 309. För att planera din resa, använd dig av SL:s reseplanerare. If taking bus here, Brommaplan is a good location for shopping food and beverages. Also there is a wonderful ferry from Ekerö center #89 into and out from Stockholm city - we strongly recommend this as transportation into the City.
