ALL COVID PROTOCOLS ADHERED TO!Set in a tropical and luscious garden stands this beautiful, bright, fresh family cottage. This home is double storey with the entertainment hub and 3 of the 5 bedrooms downstairs. It flows so easily with the kitchen, lounge and dining room all open plan flowing onto an undercover patio, sparkling pool and pool house. The kitchen has a separate scullery and outside laundry. We charge a R (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) refundable breakage fee. + (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Due to some previous guests not adhering to the house rules. We will only be accepting bookings for families. Please read the house rules carefully and if any are not adhered to, management are within their rights to evict the guests and all monies will be forfeited. The small town of Salt Rock is a very popular seaside holiday destination. Salt Rock owes much of its history to Basil Hulett and his wife Gwen who started not only the Salt Rock Hotel but went on to develop the town of Salt Rock that is found today. Nightlife in Salt Rock is limited with a handful of pubs however our restaurants, which there are quite a few, offer a variety of food, drinks and wonderful entertainment. We have night markets as well at the renowned and very popular "Litchi Orchard" and loads of other entertainment for the kiddies like the "Animal Farm" which is super popular, not to mention the "Croc farm". Its neighbour Shaka’s Rock shares a rich Zulu cultural history dating back to the days of King Shaka , when his servants would collect dried salt at low tide for trade with the early settlers. There are some fishing spots along the coast stretching up to Sheffield as well as beautiful reefs offshore. Salt Rock main beach has lifeguards, is shark protected and offers excellent surfing. Our Salt Rock Country Club is also worth a visit as it caters for your basic sporting needs including tennis, bowls, squash and swimming. The swimming pool is huge and sparkling. Although Salt Rock is a small village and everything pretty close, a vehicle is still recommended. Please note: We take a 5 night minimum from the 15th Dec - 5th Jan
