A little north of the village you will find the millstone caves on Mühlenberg. These were created when corridors were driven into the rock to extract millstones. In the surrounding area you will find "pure nature" for hiking and / or mountain biking a lot of sights that your children will also like. Our tip:  Climb up to the Gerolsteiner Dolomites and enjoy the wonderful view of the city of Gerolstein. After that you would e.g. B. reward a visit to the "Gerolsteiner Brunnen" with mineral water tasting for the effort. Your holiday accommodation: The Grafenfelder Hof is lying alone in a quiet location with no through traffic in a cul-de-sac. Your apartments are still centrally located between the volcanic Eifel cities of Daun, Gerolstein and Hillesheim (each 10 km). The location with a beautiful and wide view makes it the ideal holiday accommodation for families with children. Two 4-star non-smoking apartments with 115 m² or 85 m² living space for max. 6 or 4 people offer the ideal starting point for a relaxing holiday.
