About an hour from the beautiful beaches of the coast, Meschers, St Palais and the famous islands of Re and Olereon meaning that La Cannonerie is the perfect location for day trips to either the beach or one of the many other places of interest including Bordeaux, St Emilion, Cognac, Angouleme, La Rochelle and Saintes.
