Small guesthouse overlooking Mystra

We are situated in the orange orchard area of Magoula, a five minute drive from Sparta. Magoula is a small residential village outside Sparta which is a perfect location to organise your trips around the area. The site of Mystras as well as ancient Sparta is a 10 min drive and the sefront is half an hour away. We are a small family that likes to endadge with the guests. Set in the middle of the beautiful 15-hectare orange grove, in the valley of mount Taygetus, the guest house is a wonderfully quiet, agro-tourist retreat, with a twist of urban architecture. DETAILED DESCRIPTION The four independent houses are tastefully decorated with warm colours, stylish paintings and recycled furniture. The ground floor, which opens onto the garden, has a lounging area with lush cushions where one can enjoy a wide variety of books from the small library situated over the fireplace. Each house is also equipped with a small kitchenette for preparing quick snacks from fresh produce off the garden, if one feels like preparing a simple meal. The top floor is perfect to snuggle up and “cocoon” in bed with a good book on a cold winter day and enjoy the view of the mountains, often covered in snow until the early spring months. The private veranda overlooking the surrounding gardens and citrus groves: a private moment for all those untimely risers who want to enjoy moments of sunrise and bird (website hidden)ing of early mornings. Parking spaces are literally just outside the premises and you will be given a garage clicker to enter/ exit the premises. If you are a curious traveller, I will be very happy to answer any of your questions regarding your stay. A ten minute to the local grocery shop or the local restaurant is quite agreeable. Or I can take you to the best local fried chicken place with local greek salad. Sparta, has no puclic transport but taxis are available and inexpensive ( about 5-8 euros to the centre) one way Please note that we are in the middle of a village so some of these rustic sounds ( roosters and hens) might be company some days!
