In the heart of Salthouse village, with incredible views across the marshes to the sand dunes and sea, Barn Cottage provides stylish and spacious accommodation for couples, groups of friends and multi-generational families, looking for a gorgeous get away all year round. This bright and sunny bolthole is on the coast road and is a super-short stroll to The Dun Cow gastro pub, the Village Stores, Cookies Crab Shop for seafood specials or fish and chips from Mac's Plaice. Every room at the front of the house boasts lovely open views to the coast while the back of the cottage has a lawned area and sunny patio with garden furniture for al fresco dining on warmer evenings, and an Arctic Hut for cosy, outdoor cooking and relaxing on snugly deerskin during the winter months. The entrance door leads into a spacious open-plan, well-equipped kitchen/dining room, again with those sensational views, which is the hub of the house. Tastefully decorated with a large dining table and an inviting sitting room with a wood burning stove and comfy sofas, this house really does have it all. A sunny conservatory with corner sofa and double-doors gives access to the enclosed garden - perfect for children and dogs to play safely, while parents relax. There are three bedrooms in the house (one super-king, and two kings) each with their own televisions, and two bathrooms. Barn Cottage is a lovely bolt hole to escape to at any time of the year and Salthouse is an idyllic destination offering the beach only a ten minute walk away, a fantastic local pub and shop, also within walking distance, and for wildlife enthusiasts the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre is just down the road at Cley Marshes. You are spoilt for choice for coastal villages and beaches in either direction. Parking for other cars is available on the grass verge between the front of Barn Cottage and the road.
