Lovely, light, Loft room with en suite in Moseley.

We welcome guests to our loft room that is quite private from our home up a second flight of stairs. The room is bright and airy and has a mini kitchenette. There is a double bed and a sofa bed for 2. The room faces south and looks into Swanshurst park, so the view is a spectacular canopy of greens in the summer, you could easily forget that you are staying in the second largest city ! Moseley is a great bohemian village, which is renowned for its plethora of eating and drinking venues. The loft has mini kitchen facilities including, mini fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave. Also provided is full set of crockery, utensils and glassware for 4 guests. You will have an ensuite shower room, furnished with an electric shower and towels. There is a double bed and also a sofa bed for 2. Small table and stools under a velux window either for work or eating at. The loft is south facing with lovely views. Guests are to use the loft space, and may use the laundry room, on the second floor, by prior arrangement. Guests that are dog friendly are welcome to use the lounge on the ground floor should they wish, where there is a TV. We are happy to chat to guests and my mobile number will be given upon arrival for any questions or queries by text. As I work from home largely, I am almost always available and happy to assist. Moseley is fabulous place to be, our house is set on the borders of Moseley, making it much quieter than the village centre itself. But should you want a night out, you will be spoilt for choice. A huge array of cuisines from around the world and suit any pocket is available a 5 minute taxi ride away. (Approx £4.00) Moseley is also known for more pubs per square mile than any other village ! At one end of Swanshurst Lane, we have Sarehole Mill, the old playground of JRR Tolkein, said to be a major inspiration to the Hobbit Trilogy. Check website for tours and events in the spring , summer and lead up to Christmas. At the other end, we have Moseley Bog, a lovely relaxing nature walk through a little preserved wild park area with raised pathways and some varieties of protected wild flowers... Advisable to bring wellies ! We have a super fish and chip shop 5 minutes down the road, along with a well stocked Co-Op supermarket. Also the Hobbit cafe. Recently converted, a 10minute walk away is the Covered Wagon pub that serves good old "pub grub" during the day, and after 5pm serves authentic Indian food, and also offer a take out service. We are situated 5 minutes from the number 2 and 12 buses that take you into Birmingham city centre. Also the number 5 bus, that will take you into Solihull. The number 11 bus also stops literally a stone's throw away, and is a main bus that connects the whole of Birmingham. Hall Green Train station is a 20 minutes walk away, and will take you into the city centre directly and quickly. We are 25 mins away by car from Birmingham airport and the NEC. We do have dogs and a cat that are very friendly and human loving, and well behaved, but we keep them downstairs at all times so guests don't have to worry if they have any issues with animals, but do let us know.
