Summary: 3 The Coastguards is an absolutely fantastic four bedroom holiday home with stunning, partial views over Thorpeness beach and the sea beyond. The property is one of the four former coastguard cottages dating back to the 1830s and is ideally located in the popular seaside village of Thorpeness, just a few steps away from the beautiful shingle beach making it the perfect family holiday home by the sea. Upon entering 3 The Coastguards you are welcomed into a spacious and well-equipped, open plan kitchen and dining area with bi-folding doors flooding the room with natural light which fold back onto the decking and wonderful south-facing garden where there's a gate at the back for access down to the beach. Downstairs there is also a lovely family sitting room with an open fire, TV and board games as well as a snug with plenty of books and a TV for the kids to settle in and read a book or watch a film. Upstairs there is a beautiful master bedroom with a king-size bed and built-in wardrobes with a large window overlooking the garden and partial views out over the sea. The second double bedroom has also been furnished to a high standard with built-in wardrobes and a shared family bathroom with a bath / shower, wash basin and WC. The third bedroom is a cosy twin room with two single beds, built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers with a fourth single bedroom that has a trundle bed underneath so can sleep one more person if required. There is also a second shower room with a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Outside there is a large south-facing garden offering a decked area with outdoor table, chairs, fire pit and sun loungers making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal at lunchtime and afternoon drinks in the sun.
