BETHEL LODGE

The original sandstone farm house, Bethel Lodge is set amongst rolling, treed gardens with breathtaking views of Mount Horeb. There are 4 large bedrooms (3 with twin beds and 1 with a king size bed and bathroom en suite). The dining room/lounge is super spacious with DStv and a wood fire box. A huge games room also serves as a sun lounge and library. Barbeque/braai facilities. Pet friendly. Wifi. If more beds are required, guests should enquire about The Acorn, a comfortable and fully equipped separate unit (4 people) which is close to the main house. Bethel Lodge is ideal for families and pets. Lovely walking/running/cycling routes down to and along the Little Caledon River. Three of the bedrooms have views down the valley towards Golden Gate. The braai (Weber and a half drum) can be on the lawn or in the verandah nook where guests will be protected from adverse weather. 4 kms from the village and yet a complete country feel of peace and tranquility. Free parking available at the front of Bethel Lodge. If a closed garage is required please just ask Simon. Six houses, each on 4 hectare plots, on the Bethel Estate which is, in some parts, still a working farm (crops). Own transport. Parking is available.
