Situated in the South Downs National Park , half a mile walk from the historic town of Midhurst , with it’s independent shops and restaurants . Known for it’s Cowdray Park Polo and stunning Castle ruins . Ideally situated 9 miles from the Goodwood estate , with motor racing and race course . 10 miles from Chichester and the Festival Theatre The Barn studio is situated about 50 metres from the main house , giving a high degree of privacy . At the end of a private lane , containing a small number of cottages , backing onto Midhurst Common for acres of wonderful walks. There is no private outside space, but a table and chairs is on our lower lawn for your use. Convenient secure parking right opposite the property. Respectively request that guests appreciate that the majority of the garden is for the families use, but please feel free to use the table and chairs set out on the lower lawn for your own use. Right in the middle of the wonderful South Downs and convenient for all leisure pursuits as well as fine dining at local award winning Pubs and restaurants. Convenient for Goodwood and Cowdray events when the local area truly comes alive but equally a beautiful spot to just take a walk in the woods before a lovely meal in a local pub or using the facilities available in the kitchen. Parking is available opposite the property with pedestrian access . Buses available from the end of the lane and train stations at Haslemere, Petersfield and Liphook all about 20 minutes drive away. Please be aware that we are right in Midhurst Common so you may be awoken by some loud birdsong!
