PONDICHERY and ZANZIBAR are two elegant gites uniquely situated in a converted 18th century farmhouse that is set within a private contemporary sculpture park close to the River Seine. Chaque gîte est un duplex composé de 2 pièces pour accueillir 4 personnes. Chacun est équipé d’une chambre avec SDB (douche à l’italienne) et d’une pièce à vivre : séjour+cuisine. Vous avez un accès direct au parc de sculptures, espace de 1.8 ha entièrement clos. Vous pouvez vous y promener, vous relaxer et admirer les sculptures, certaines monumentales. Le chemin rural est au bout du parc. Vous pouvez partir vers la Seine à pied ou à VTT. La future “voie verte” Paris-Honfleur/Deauville passera à proximité. Vous êtes à 13 km de Giverny, 53 km de Rouen, 90km de Paris, 125 km de Deauville. De nombreuses activités sportives (équitation, piscine, etc.) et culturelles sont accessibles à proximité. The property is calm and tranquil, nestling in the quiet Normandy village of Port-Mort, and yet it lies only 45 minutes from Rouen, 25 minutes from Monet’s Giverny and 1 hour from Paris. Each gite is a duplex that can accommodate four guests with an open plan sitting room and kitchen that faces the garden plus an upstairs bedroom with en suite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, cutlery, cooking pans, ceramic hobs, a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and refrigerator. The dining area has a table with four chairs, while the lounge space has seating that can be converted into two single beds. The bedroom has a large double bed. Each gite has its own Wifi, CAstra TV decoder and parking space. The interior design of the properties is distinctive and arty, with PONDICHERY having a soft palette while ZANZIBAR’s colour scheme was inspired by spices. The private sculpture park covers 1.8 hectares and features monumental pieces that can be enjoyed by guests. The park’s open spaces can be freely explored and provide a wonderful environment for play, relaxation, inspiration and photography. Mature trees provide shade with benches to sit and read. Throughout the day there is birdsong and the scent of flowers while in the evening there is an uninterrupted view of the setting sun. Beyond the park there are fields with horses. A country lane traverses the rear of the property and is accessible for cycling or strolling along the River Seine.
