There’s often a pop up visiting food ‘van’ on weekends (pizza, fish and chips etc) The nearest villages are Ellington, Spaldwick and Perry (all with pubs serving great food) and Kimbolton, Buckden and Brampton ( all with quaint shops, deli’s, cafes and choice of pubs). There are 2 service stations a few minutes drive away on the A14/A1 (Subway, Gregg’s, Costa, Starbucks, McDonalds, M&S food etc). Easy access to A14 and A1. Brampton village also has a Co-op and Buckden has a One Stop which are open later and are the nearest convenience stores when the village shop has closed (currently 6.30pm but changes during winter). We are located near the beautiful Grafham Water reservoir with lovely walks, cycling (cycle hire available at Grafham Water Centre), fishing, bird watching, sailing and cafes. We live on a quiet road but please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum. September/October is ‘spider month’ in Grafham - houses get an increased number of spiders and other insects/small animals in them - we live near open fields and The Coach House is an old stable block so it is a favourite place for spiders etc. There is a bus to Huntingdon a couple of times a day (from outside The Cinnamon restaurant) but generally you need a car or bicycle to explore the wider area. Nearest train stations are Huntingdon and St Neots - both with fast trains to London (under an hour) and are about a 15 minute drive away. Easy access to A1 and A14 - just a few minutes drive away. Baby and child facilities are available on request.
